Killhope is an award
winning, Family Friendly, 'Quality Assured Visitor Attraction' where
visitors discover the lives of Lead Mining families. Park Level mine
is a real adventure. Equipped with hardhat, lamp and wellies you are
guided down the original tunnel. On the surface, work as a washer
boy and find your own lead ore. See the North of England's largest
working water wheel. Quiet Woodland Walks, Exhibitions, Shop and
Cafe enhance you memorable day out.

An amazing recreation
of an 18th Century seaport. This attraction is a great day out for
all ages and really brings to life this fascinating time in British
history. Featuring the oldest warship afloat in Europe, HMS
Trincomalee. Costumed guides add to the experience and there are
regular musketry, cannon and sword fighting displays. Available to
hire for family celebrations, weddings, business meetings and pirate
parties.
