A
magnificent Palladian mansion standing in its own
parkland overlooking the River Itchen. The state rooms
on show, include the beautifully painted main hall, the
ballroom with magnificent gold plasterwork ceiling and
painted panels as well as the library overlooking the
south lawns, adjoining a unique pair of conservatories
flanking the orangery. A guided tour is available and
the T Bar selling home made cakes is situated in one of
the conservatories. St Mary's Church is in the grounds
